The Tau Pi Foundation
For eight years, the Tau Pi Crab Feast has brought our community together to celebrate, connect, and invest in the next generation of leaders.
Our Mission
The Tau Pi Foundation is dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and community engagement. We believe that every young person deserves access to the resources and role models they need to succeed.
Through the annual Crab Feast, we raise funds that directly support two flagship programs: our scholarship initiative for Howard County high school seniors, and our Saturday mentorship program serving Title V youth from elementary through high school.
Programs We Support
Scholarship Program
We award scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Howard County, Maryland. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, and demonstrated financial need. These scholarships help bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity.
Saturday Mentorship Program
Our Saturday program serves Title V youth from elementary through high school, pairing them with professional mentors who provide guidance, tutoring, and life skills training. We meet every Saturday to ensure consistent, meaningful support throughout the school year.
8 Years of Community
What started as a small gathering has grown into one of Baltimore's most anticipated summer events. Each year, we welcome more families, more sponsors, and more community members who share our commitment to lifting each other up.
The 2026 Crab Feast will be held on June 20, 2026 at Martin's West in Baltimore. We expect over 400 attendees for an unforgettable afternoon of food, music, and fellowship.
